Exeter City Centre Charity Abseil
MORE than 80 people - including Amanda from The Purple Company - became daredevils for the day as part of a charity abseil.
The event took place at the old Debenhams building in Exeter city centre with participants raising vital funds for the West of England School and College for young people with little or no sight.
Amanda faced a 140ft drop down the side of the building.
She said: "I was very nervous but excited too.
"The hardest bit was stepping off the top of the building but by the time I got to the bottom I wanted to do it all over again."
Warm-hearted colleagues and generous friends helped Amanda to raise over £200 for the West of England School.
